HTC Touch HD presented at Gitex today

HTC is planning to launch two new phones in the Middle East – the HTC Touch 3G and HTC Touch HD. These phones will be officially presented at GITEX 2008, tha largest technology conference of the Middle East, they will be demonstrated at F9-1B in Sheikh Rashid Hall in Dubai.

“GITEX, being one of the region’s most important industry events, serves as a critical component of our overall marketing strategy in the UAE and the rest of the region. Accordingly, we have prepared a bigger and much more sophisticated exhibition featuring a powerful line-up of HTC products and a unique opportunity for customers to enjoy HTC ’s high-end mobile experience,” sais CEO of HTC Chen.

True mobile broadband experience HTC Touch HD gives the user allows him to browse the net faster and easier. With both devices buyers can search for and watch streaming video from YouTube and stay updated on the latest news with the integrated powerful RSS reader. This provides a comparable Internet experience to that of home broadband in terms of both speed and comfort.

I wish they would hurry up and release it, my phone broke and at this rate the BB storm will be the phone I get because at least its alost def. coming out on Nov. 16

There is no point in buying the medeocre blackberry storm that is missing a few vital components, I would wait for the HTC HD. Awesome phone!!

I am not sure where all of you getting the info of the HTC HD not coming to the US, but I emailed HTC and they just said the opposite. I am not sure of this "official twitter" site. Email them they will tell you the same!

Have heard that Orange UK have got this on exclusive in UK for 2 months, should be on their network in time for Christmas although no official date is mentioned - check mobile news' website for the snipet of info

Orange have informed me that, if the Touch HD passes their testing process, it will be available to customers at the end of November.

I bought a HTC Touch HD yesterday. It is much faster that the Touch Diamond (without firmware upgrade) - no problems scrolling.

im usind htc hd and problem i have is that it is in French and i cant change its language to English ..can ny one tell me how is that possible ??
