HTC Touch HD fever is still on the roll with thee new pictures from CNET Asia. HD's Touchscreen is really huge compared to other HTC devices!

This week is rich on previews. Guys from generation-fonehouse have recorded a very interesting video-preview of HTC Touch HD. A must-see!
Conclusions: HTC HD has larger screen, it's easy to use HD's keyboard, and once again, Opera browser, integrated into HTC Touch HD rocks!
Another french website had published a preview of HTC Touch HD here.

Notice how iPhone's browser messes up a webpage and HTC HD's Opera displays it correctly? Yeah. Take that, iPhone!

Also notice, how HTC Touch HD takes much better pictures in low light even without flash.
First preview of HTC Touch HD
Folks from geekinc.fr somehow got their hands on the HTC Touch HD and wrote a preview, where thay compared HTC HD to Apple iPhone 3G.

Summary: HTC HD feels better in the hand, has larger display, makes great 5-mp photos and is, in fact, much better than iPhone.
Here's a preview, if you're interested.
We all know, that HTC Touch HD has gone official, and now there are stores which made the phone available for pre-order at their internet-store. First store to do so was Clove, which is offering HTC Touch HD for the price of £495 (without VAT) or $880 (with VAT).
Store informs that phone is to be released in late November.
Still no news about HTC HD's availability in the US, though.
P.S. HTC Touch HD now has its own official page on HTC's website.
Also there's HTC Touch HD gallery available now.
Good news, everyone! Looks like HTC feels embarrassed that HTC HD's pics leaked into the net earlier, than it was intended (as usual). New phone is briefly featured on HTC website. You already know the full specs. They have been confirmed.

CEO of HTC, Peter Chou, said "Today, widescreen TV, Internet and video have become the standard so there is no reason to compromise when you leave the house, the Touch HD delivers that uncompromising multimedia and Internet experience".
HTC Touch HD is coming to European market at the end of the year, supposingly before Christmas (that's what we were saying!). Other countries will have to wait and chances of HTC Touch HD hitting the US market are still unknown.
Premium members of XDA-Developers forum did it! They have successfully ripped TouchFlo3D from HTC Touch Viva, powered by 200 MHz processor, which ensures that this version of TouchFlo will run on any phone or PDA, based on Windows Mobile.
You can download TouchFlo from this thread on XDA-Developers forum, but keep in mind that it's still in Beta stage, though clearly shows tremendous potential!
Here's demonstration of TouchFlo on another mobile-phone:
Good news, folks, we've got our own HTC Touch HD forum now! ![]()
Come on in! You'll find latest news, rumors and more (will be extended as soon as HD is out!)
More info on HTC's Touch HD has leaked into the net: seems like HTC will make its new top of the notch phone tri-band.
Full specs are:
Bad news for those, who live in the US, for it's said that HD will support such networks as GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS900, UMTS2100.
Oops! No AT&T's GSM bands in the list. More than that - phone will have only dual HSDPA support (according to preliminary data), which means there's no place for 3G bands for US subscribers.
It will, of course, make its way to the US market, but not for Christmas for sure, if these specs are accurate...
And more than that, Touch HD will support only QVGA video capture. Not that bad, but... If you make it the best, HTC, what the heck?!
Rather accurate specifications of HTC Touch HD become available today:
Conclusions on these specs: this baby is going to be the most charged WM-based phone ever made! Hope to see it in action ASAP.
