A member of wmpoweruser.com did an interesting analysis, trying to determine real size of HTC HD's touch screen. It's known that size of HTC Touch HD will be almost similar to iPhone's. But real screen size is still a mystery.

To solve this mystery, author took the best available front photo of HTC HD, and did some calculations and measurements. Result - touch screen size seems to be around 3,8 In, which is really good, for extremely high display resolution (800x480!) requires a large display.

HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) pricing and costSources we cannot mention here informed us that HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) will probably be available in the US at the end of december, on the eve of Christmas holidays.

We were also told, that HTC will firstly ship HD's for AT&T only. MArket price will be $1100 to $1200 (and much less, if you subscribe for a long period of time at AT&T, around $200-300).

3D interface will be slightly improved and software package will be almost similar to what can be found in HTC Touch Diamond today.

"This baby is going to be a hit ", - they say, - " we have seen an engineering sample and let us say: iPhone, beware! Comfort and looks of iPhone with flexibility of Windows Mobile? You bet!"

Let's just hope it becomes everything we expect from another great HTC's product.

There is something breathtaking in releases of new HTC products. This is a special release: there are rumors in the netm that HTC will start selling its new phone (a.k.a. iPhone killer), which will have WVGA-display resolution of 800x480 px! It's rumored to be called HTC Touch HD (Blackstone).

It will have size, similar to iPhone's, have Qualcomm 7201a CPU, with 528 MHz frequency (CPU has it's own 32 mb of memory), 512mb ROM and 256mb RAM, will support HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD-cards, will have 5-mp camera and well-known TouchFLO 3D interface. Battery is rumored to be 1350mAh. Blackstone will use Windows Mobile 6.1 as main OS. Overall dimensions: 115х62.8х12mm.
