There is something breathtaking in releases of new HTC products. This is a special release: there are rumors in the netm that HTC will start selling its new phone (a.k.a. iPhone killer), which will have WVGA-display resolution of 800x480 px! It's rumored to be called HTC Touch HD (Blackstone).

It will have size, similar to iPhone's, have Qualcomm 7201a CPU, with 528 MHz frequency (CPU has it's own 32 mb of memory), 512mb ROM and 256mb RAM, will support HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD-cards, will have 5-mp camera and well-known TouchFLO 3D interface. Battery is rumored to be 1350mAh. Blackstone will use Windows Mobile 6.1 as main OS. Overall dimensions: 115х62.8х12mm.

OBVIOUSLY, THIS IS GOOD NEWS CONCERNING THIS PHONE. NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG, BUT, IF YOU PUT ALL THIS INTO A PHONE AND THEN NOT MAKE IT CAPABLE TO PLAY MOBILE TV, THEN THAT'S A MAJOR JACKASS MOVE. THE REASON I SAY THIS, IS BECAUSE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT APPLE DID ON THE IPHONES. PLEASE TELL ME I'M WRONG AND AT&T WILL MAKE MOBILE TV AVAILABLE WITH THIS PHONE. OR ELSE IT'S ALMOST LIKE HAVING NO ENGINE IN A LAMBORGHINI. THEN AGAIN, THE ITALIANS DO HAVE MORE SENSE.

IF ANY ONE THINK OF PURCHASING A HTC MOBILE IN MALAYSIA. YOU ALL GOT TO THINK TWICE OR MORE AS THE DAMN LOUSY SERVICE SUPPORT, RUDE RECEPTION, TAKES FEWS DAY TO GET THE PARTS.

I'M A HTC (HD) USER PURCHASE 3 MONTHS AGO, THE PHONE IS GOOD BUT THE BEST THING IS NOT RELIABLE (WORST THEN THE CHINA MAKE PHONE), THE ON/OFF BUTTON GIVE VERY EXPENSIVE PAYING ON THE PHONE AFTER GOING TO THE SERVICING CENTRE FOR ADVICE, .... NEED TO LEFT FEW DAY AFTER WITING THE PARTS TO BE ARRIVE FROM SPACE...( NO SPARE STOCK KEPT).

PAUL FROM PENANG, MALAYSIA TOLD ME THAT THAT WASN'T THE ON/OFF SWITCH PROBLEMS, IT WAS THE MAIN BOARD PROBLEMS THAT NEED TO BE REPLACE.
THAT WAS SOMETING THAT WORTH FOR PAYING SUCH A HIGH END PHONE ENDED IN THE SERVICE CENTRE.

DEAR ALL USER, WHICH GOING TO GET A HTC HD, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK IF ANYTHING HAPPEN TO THE PHONE WILL IT BE 1 TO 1 REPLACEMENT OF REPAIR.

1st of all, most of the electrical device or what so ever are made in china(some good, some bad)..so bare with it..somehow, i do believe that HTC do have a good quality on their products.

You claimed

1)Lousy Support? if lousy support, then why do paul(who is he?the customer service representitive?) are like helping you and try to troubleshoot your device?

2)Rude Reception? i dont know, why not you share with us over here, how rude could it be? :)

3) Takes few days to get the parts? so, there are 2 possibilities that they running out of parts, either, Touch HD got low defect rate, thats why parts running slow or second, is really running out of parts. somehow, i got to know that HTC was setup at taiwan, it need to order from the main manufacturer to ensure customer satisfaction and good quality of the phone without using replica parts or what so ever. but still, at least the person in charge over the service center did advise and offer help to you,no?

by the way, taiwan and china. aren't both are major chinese population over ? and guess what, i google your name Mr. Pin Choong, you seem chinese?aren't you? lets assume you are, you should have support for own heritage man, you are telling the world that stuff made in china are sucky, thats bad though. shame on you.
